Celebrate National Reconciliation Week and join us at ATC Cook Reserve Glenroy, adjacent to the Ballerrt Mooroop College site, for a day of traditional Aboriginal games and fun for all the family!
Games leaders Uncle Bill Nicholson and Mandy Nicholson will guide you through traditional team challenges, such as throwing a wit wit, boomerang or (blunt) spear, playing marngrook (traditional football), tool making and campfire challenges. Cultural prizes will be awarded to the standout teams.
The event will commence with a traditional Wurundjeri Welcome and Smoking Ceremony, and will also feature free face painting, didgeridoo, dance and artefacts displays.

Venue: ATC Cook Reserve, Glenroy
Transport: Bus 546; Jacana Train Station; Car parking available via Ash Court

Bookings are essential as places are limited
- Please BYO picnic food, picnic rugs/deck chairs
- Coffee van will be on site for hot & cold drinks
- Please wear comfortable clothes and runners
- Suitable for all ages and abilities
