Applications close 10 November 2016
Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from Producers, Directors, Musicians, Programmers and/or Companies in Performance Development Residencies at the Richmond Theatrette in 2017. Performance Development Residencies will be offered to two applicants who will receive a stipend and access to the Richmond Theatrette so that they can develop new work in theatre, dance, music, or other art forms or formats (for example: community and cultural programs, talks, or series of showings or presentations).
Cash support of $3000 will also be provided.
Individual artists, companies or other groups may submit one proposal only as part of the Expression of Interest process. Proposals will be assessed on the following criteria:
- Works of high quality
- Innovative and/or emerging forms/practice
- Works presented in a professional manner
- Works in progress or at an early stage of their development
- Works that have connections to our community and/or to issues that are current and pertinent to Yarra
The City of Yarra embraces diversity in all its forms and we encourage proposals that reflect the rich fabric of our local culture and that address issues related to all kinds of access and inclusion.
