Shanrah Austin

Shanrah Austin’s practice draws stimulus from early sideshow culture, medical archives and cinematic horror.  Her work explores the human anomaly, highlighting the abject, and the obscurity of escaping the normalised body. Shanrah has produced a large body of work incorporating installation, sculpture, video and drawing.

Since graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) Sculpture at RMIT, she has been involved in a variety of group shows, collaborations and facilitated community art projects.
