Mark S. Holsworth is a Melbourne-based writer, blogger and artist who has just written his first book, Sculptures of Melbourne (Melbourne Books, 2015). In 2008 he started his blog, Black Mark – Melbourne Art and Culture Critic because he felt there was a lack of critical discussion in Melbourne’s art world.

As an artist he has had solo art exhibitions but he has concentrate on his writing in recent years. Mark has also written articles, short stories, role-playing game scenarios and plays most notably, Sister Sister, that was first performed at St. Martin’s in 1983.
