Play your part in Moreland’s journey to zero carbon

In case you weren’t at our recent Zero Carbon Evolution community event we wanted to share the great news that we’ve created a new online collaboration space just for you!

Our online collaboration space can be found here and will enable Moreland residents, businesses and communities to find out the latest news about what’s happening on our local journey to zero carbon. You can also find out about (or upload your own) local events, ideas and climate heroes and connect with others to support and inspire each other.

There are some fabulous sustainability related events coming up including local homes you can visit on Sustainable House Day, a workshop for local early learning centres and kinders, 3000 acres’ Spring Fling festival and our upcoming solar and batteries information sessions in Glenroy and Pascoe Vale.

We’d also love for you to pledge to play your part in our local journey by clicking here.

Not only does signing up send the message that our community truly cares about taking action on climate change but it means that we can understand which actions Moreland residents want to take and support these. By telling us what actions are too difficult for you to undertake we can also discover what problems we need to be solving to speed up our zero carbon journey.

We also have a fabulous new video which you can view here. It explains what’s happening at a local level – with cute children, coffee, music, and two of Moreland’s recent award winners Baptcare and Moreland Community Child Care Centres. So press play, sit back and enjoy seeing what’s happening in Moreland!
