IPF Photo Prize 2016

Submissions for the 5th annual IPF Photo Prize are now being accepted! – Close 28 October.

52901a22-872b-4420-beff-fb9048849816Photographers, photo-enthusiasts and photo-makers of all descriptions and disciplines in all parts of the world are invited to submit images for exhibition in the IPF Photo Prize 2016 – the premier event for the IPF 2016 program!

After four years of presenting one of Melbourne’s largest and most diverse prints-based competitions and auction, we’re switching things up a little for 2016 …

This year, submissions are to be made via our online submissions form and will be printed by IPF and Thirds Fine Art Printing. No print submissions will be accepted this year.

Exhibited entries will be in the running to win $5,000 worth of prizes in the following categories:

  • Judge’s Panel 1st Place
  • Judge’s Panel 2nd Place
  • People’s Choice Award

The People’s Choice Award will be voted on by attendees to the exhibition over the course of the festival and announced on Sun 20 Nov at the IPF Closing Party

As ever, the Photo Prize will open the week-long program of solo & group exhibitions, screenings, talks, workshops and photographic application across some of Melbourne’s best independent galleries and spaces from 12–20 Nov.
