The Counihan Gallery In Brunswick in partnership with Arts Project Australia
is proud to announce the opening of the group exhibition, LANDMARKS curated by Victor Griss and Sim Luttin.
The exhibition presents the works of six artists that together reveal the ways
in which we simultaneously navigate and inscribe our urban habitat.

In LANDMARKS the constructed environment is a site of memory and meaning,
where human presence reveals itself in overlapping narratives.
Shared spaces are recorded as personal accounts of association and experience
so that one might describe the world as an ever-changing map that can be read in a myriad of ways.

official opening 6 – 8 pm Thursday 25 August
exhibition runs 26 August – 25 September 2016

A series of public programs will be held throughout the exhibition.
Details available soon.
