ABOUT BUS PROJECTS
Bus Projects is an independent arts organisation dedicated to supporting the critical, conceptual and interdisciplinary practices of Australian artists. In addition to its core gallery-based program of exhibitions, events and public programs, Bus Projects collaborates with a range of artists and arts organisations to produce projects off-site and within the public realm.
WHO CAN APPLY
Bus Projects invites proposals from emerging and established artists and curators to present solo, group or collaborative exhibitions, as well as public events, performances and ephemeral projects.
ABOUT THE SPACE
Applications are to be specific to one of five exhibition spaces. As part of exhibiting, artists receive ongoing support from Bus Projects staff during the development and delivery of exhibitions. If you are considering a project that will span multiple gallery spaces or involve substantial construction, please contact Gallery Curator, Madé Spencer-Castle to discuss before submitting your proposal. Gallery fees are for three-week exhibitions; however, projects of other durations can be discussed upon request:
Gallery One — $890
Gallery Two — $780
Gallery Three — $680
Gallery Four — $490
Gallery Five — $390
SUBMISSIONS:
- A concise 300 word Project Outline.
- Nominate a preferred gallery space and month in which to present your exhibition.
- Upload support material:
++ One A4 page Curriculum Vitae for each participating artist.
++ 10 images in jpeg format (max 1mb each)
++ Weblinks to audio-visual material (Youtube, Vimeo, SoundCloud etc)
++ 100 word description of support material (media, title and year of production)More info:
