Applications close 26 March 2017
At this critical juncture in history, artists work to not only reflect and comment, but shape the way in which we deal with environmental and humanitarian crises. Over one week, leading international and Australian artists will plot, design, critique, share and mobilise around issues of environmental and social justice. The Artist Intensive will see a core group of artists undertake workshops, case studies, discussions and shared meals with Mel Evans, Kelly Doley, Alex Kelly, Amy Spiers, Gabrielle de Vietri and Megan Cope. Artist Intensive workshops are open to practising artists and arts workers from all fields with an interest in politically-engaged practice.
The Intensive has a capacity of 25 artists. To apply please submit a short biography and a link to your website or work. Space is also allocated in the program for participants to propose workshops and present work.
